> REINFORCED MASTER CONCENTRATES
The properties of polypropylene can be improved through the use
of chemical coupling and composite materials, obtained by combining
the polymer base with the appropriate agents.
In particular, to elevate the elastic modulus and the thermal and
aesthetic properties of polypropylene, we developed a concentrate
of reinforcing agents which, when used with the appropriate dilution
ratios, enables the manufacturing of products with properties otherwise
only attainable with mineral fillers.
It is known that the use of mineral fillers (such as calcium carbonate,
talc, fibers, etc) in polypropylene increases density, negatively
effect aesthetic properties and makes coloring difficult and expensive.
The use of our concentrates leaves the density almost unaltered,
improves the aesthetic properties, and does not interfere with coloring.
